基希讷乌气候温暖湿润，阳光充足，是摩尔多瓦的工业中心。神圣门（HolyGates；建于1841年），人们都称之为“基希讷乌的凯旋门”。凯旋门为石质建筑，高大雄伟，纹饰精美，是基希纳乌和摩尔多瓦的国家象征。
